PCMA is a professional organization, representing management of business events, conferences and conventions. We are a chapter of this association and MEC offers the opportunity to travel to PCMA’s national conference where we learn about the industry and network with meeting and events professionals

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events is today the leading trade association for the global exhibitions and events industry. As an MEC member you gain access to an IAEE membership as well
Mission Statement
MSU Meeting and Events Club (MEC) is Michigan State University’s student chapter of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
We are focused on providing students with an opportunity to contribute to and foster understanding of the meeting and events industry. As a club within the Hospitality Association, we are committed to involvement of philanthropic, fundraising, and educational events within our community and the meeting and events field.
As we work alongside business professionals, are actively involved in the community, participate in various opportunities including site visits, and travel to PCMA’s national conference, it is our goal to become leaders in our industry and build fellowship along the way!
